WEEK 6

February already!! I'm thinking Valentines! My valentine is a busy fella... he's been refinishing some antiques that have been in the garage for ages & ages!

WEEK 5

Bill and I started walking in the mornings.  Nice brisk weather - bright sunshine and cool (ok, cold) air!  I started noticing mailboxes.  A whole 'nother thing to think about.  I always think to myself, "yep, you can't miss our house, look for the purple polka dot mailbox" or something like that, depending on what the mailbox looks like.  Or, sometimes it's the color of a house that makes me think, "you can't miss us, look for the pink house - we are across the street!"  Then I smile and think happy thoughts because our neighbors have their homes very subtle earth tones. YAY!! ...  Oh, back to mailboxes:

WEEK 4

We cheated...we went out of town.... Then again, we felt like we were in Pahrump. Does that count?  We headed over to Quartzsite, Arizona for some R&R with friends.  What a great people watching adventure.  And flea markets? Swap Meet, Big Tent of RV information, parts, and other things too.  WOW is all I can say.  I look forward to visiting there again, perhaps next year.

WEEK 3

Two weeks here, included part of a week (ok, long weekend) camping at Pismo Coast Village.  Life is great!  I'm celebrating with two photos - one of a Pahrump Sunset taken from our patio; the second was taken at Pismo Beach.  Lovely aren't they?

WEEK 2 - More fun!

Two different homes in the same vicinity.  One looks sort of like a church (well, Jill thought it was - from another angle); one has an impressive entry; ok, it has an entry that makes a statement, I just don't know what the statement is...and both made me think, WTF?  Seems like I think that a lot some days!!  Can't wait to share some of the fences ... If good fences make good neighbors.... ok, that's just a teaser!  <Grin>  Happy Tuesday!

Yard Art Abounds!

A favorite passtime for us is taking a drive around town, admiring yard art, sometimes wondering WHAaaaaT? But always entertained!

Yard work is minimal if you have lots of Sheep!

WEEK 1 ... Time is already flying by!!

Recap: we arrived December 28 and on New Year's Eve welcomed several friends, displaced Californians (AKA Honorary P-Townies!), who helped us celebrate retirement and welcome in 2012.  I call the first photograph below: "Name that Dude!"
